Sime Darby Motors Malaysia Service Advisor Conference 2023

The first Sime Darby Motors Service Advisor Conference, held on November 4, 2023, was an important first of its kind event aimed at emphasizing the key role of Service Advisors in the company. The conference was not only a platform to highlight the importance of the Service Advisor role in our dealerships but also to appreciate the dedication and hard work of the teams responsible for achieving benchmark Customer Service Experience ratings. Service Advisors play a challenging role as they are the primary point of contact with customers, ensuring excellent service, regardless of the situation. A key objective for the day was to foster collaboration, engage in discussions on specific topics, share best practices, and align the focus of Service Advisors for the future.

During the conference, it was announced that the region has set a goal to achieve the same excellent Customer Service Experience across all Operating Units within Malaysia R&D, irrespective of the business unit, brand of the vehicle, or the Service Advisor attending to customer needs. The Conference was also supported by the attendance on the branch Service Managers, Head of Aftersales, and People Experience Heads from Operating Units. Their attendance ensured all teams are aligned on the key take aways, with primary the intent to provide support and development opportunities for our Service Advisor teams. This goal underscores the commitment to delivering consistent and outstanding service to customers throughout the region.
