Sime Darby Kia Taiwan recently organised a one day learning experience that covers sustainable food and environmental practices with their employees at Formosa Yangmei Organic Ecology Farm.

The farm integrates organic and environmental friendly methods into their daily operations to ensure high quality products and healthy ingredients are produced. Approximately forty colleagues attended the day to learn more about the farm’s practices and its thriving ecological habitat. Attendees participated in fruit and vegetable picking, animal feeding and learnt about organic farming.

The fruits and vegetables that were harvested from the day were donated to a variety of charitable donations, including the local food bank and the Taiwan International Joseph Granary Charity Association.

This initiative highlighted Sime Darby Kia Taiwan’s commitment to its Group’s core values “Care for all” and “Win Together.’ We hope that the participants who attended truly benefitted from the education and insights that were shared. We look forward to hosting more initiatives like this one, giving back to our local community.
