(MY) Sime Darby Motors Wins Multiple Awards at 18th Malaysia Cars of the Year 2019 Awards
Sime Darby Motors starts the new decade on a high note, with three marques under its umbrella crowned winners at the 18th Malaysia Cars of the Year 2019 (COTY 2019) awards.
Following the past year’s string of accolades and strong overall performance, Ford, Hyundai and Porsche were named winners in their respective categories for vehicle models that were launched between November 2018 and November 2019.
125 vehicles were shortlisted into 19 best-in-class categories and one Overall Car of the Year award. Marques under Sime Darby Motors bagged the following titles:
The winners were shortlisted by an independent panel of nine judges from various industries including automotive experts, motoring editors and motoring enthusiasts. Criteria assessed for the winning cars include coherence of exterior and interior design, technical specifications and engineering innovation, energy efficiency and environmental-friendliness, value for money, performance and overall driving experience.

- Sime Darby Auto Performance was awarded the ‘Premium Midsize SUVs Car of the Year’ for the Porsche Macan.
