In conjuction with the International Book Give Away Day, Human Resource Motors Division collaborated with Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ) – (Hipermedia Library) to collect used/new books from employees within Klang valley.

The main purpose of this day is to encourage people (worldwide) to give a book to a child on February 14th, by donating used books to a local library/shelter/organizations that distributes used books to children in need.

With the support from the Operating Units, we managed to collect more than 700 books within two weeks! All these books will then be distributed to ­­­­selected schools, public libraries and "pangsapuri angkat" through MPSJ.

Puan Shariza Binti Safuri (Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Perpustakaan, Jabatan Pembangunan Masyarakat MPSJ) and her team from the "Perpustakaan Hipermedia" came over to Motors HQ to hand over the Appreciation Certificate as a token of appreciation for the books.
