On 28th February, employees of Shantou Bao Yue, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Motors, paid a visit to the Shantou Xierer Car Wash, also known as The Magpie Car Wash Centre.

Located at Taishan Middle Road (south of Longteng Homestead), the centre was established by a group of parents, to help their children with learning disabilities learn life skills and become self-reliant.

During the visit, Ms. Lin Hongli, General Manager of Shantou Baoyue donated useful items for the centre’s daily use such as rice and other food items. Besides supplies, the company also provided guidance to the workers on how to improve their car wash techniques. The company will also encourage car owners to support the car wash business.

Shantou Bao Yue is an authorized dealer of BMW & MINI and has been established for 15 years. Actively involved in their local community, the dealership has organized activities involving BMW car owners, as well as activities in support of education and youth development, as part of their responsibility in helping to shape a better future for their community.
