Sime Darby Motors Celebrates Success at BYD Asia Pacific 2024 Dealer Conference

Sime Darby Motors was honoured with numerous outstanding awards for our performance at the recent BYD Asia Pacific 2024 Dealer Conference. Themed ‘Evolve with BYD’, the event was held in Xi’an, China. BYD recognised Sime Darby Motors in Malaysia and Singapore for delivering excellence in sales, service, dealer operations and customer satisfaction. The highlight of the night was an appreciation ceremony, where BYD Asia Pacific celebrated achieving 100,000 vehicles sold, and recognising the contribution of Sime Darby Motors in achieving this milestone.

Apart from the gala dinner, the team at Sime Darby also had the opportunity to experience Xi’an’s history and culture while connecting with the brand principal, partners and dealerships. Activities included a visit to the Ming City Wall and a qi gong experience, the Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, and an art-making session.

Located in Xi’an is also the largest BYD factory, where the team was brought for a visit and tour of the welding and assembly workshops. It was a fulfilling trip for the team as they took a step closer to gaining a deeper understanding of the BYD brand and its vehicles.
