Continental Cars New Zealand Launches New Ferrari Showroom

Ferrari has a new home in New Zealand following the opening of an all-new showroom in Auckland in December. The all-new 450 square metre state of the art showroom is situated at a prominent site on Manukau Road, Epsom, not far from the Continental Car Services’ showroom that was the home of Ferrari for many years.

Ferrari and Continental Car Services (CCS) have a 43-year history together in New Zealand, with 2017 marking both CCS’s 50th anniversary and Ferrari’s 70th anniversary .
Ferrari Far East & Middle East CEO, Dieter Knechtel and Ferrari Australasia CEO, Herbert Appleroth, Sime Darby Motors’ Managing Director, Dato’ Lawrence Lee, Managing Director for New Zealand & Australia, Pat McKenna and Continental Car Ferrari Dealer Principal, Tony Elsmore were all present at the opening celebrations.
The new showroom will house a number of new Ferrari vehicles including the all-new 488 Spider, California T ‘Handling Speciale’, F12berlinetta and the forthcoming GTC4Lusso V8 and V12 models. In addition to the new showroom, CCS is also investing in a new workshop facility and a future expansion of its Christchurch service centre.
The stunning new showroom in the heart of Auckland will not only be the landmark of the area, but also an important pillar of the Ferrari dealer network globally. The significant investment made by Continental Car Ferrari proves the strength of their confidence in the Ferrari brand and shows the level of growth in one of the most dynamic cities in the region.
It has been noted that Ferrari’s New Zealand customers have a long and significant affinity with Ferrari. Some of these customers are amongst the most respected collectors in the world, with many of Ferrari’s special limited editions making their way to New Zealand. It is expected that this new state of the art facility will continue to strengthen Ferrari’s position with the New Zealand customers.
“We are proud to be the sole official representative of Ferrari in New Zealand since 1973 and excited to unveil the all new Continental Cars Ferrari showroom in Auckland,” said Tony Elsmore, Dealer Principal, Continental Cars Ferrari. “This is a world class automotive facility with additions such as the Ferrari Atelier which will allow us to provide our customers with an exceptional level of service and the ability to welcome prospective buyers with the most up to date technology and equipment available.”
