Sime Darby Auto Connexion Launches Fully-Imported, Feature-Packed Ford Ranger TDCi

PETALING JAYA, 3 December 2008 - Sime Darby Auto Connexion Sdn Bhd (Auto ConneXion), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Motor Division that now manages the Ford, Land Rover and Alfa Romeo brands, has launched a fully-imported Ford Ranger TDCi that offers more for less.

Priced at just RM86,888 (on the road, without insurance and registration) in Peninsular Malaysia and RM90,388 in East Malaysia (on the road without insurance and registration) the new Ranger TDCi now comes with two side airbags in addition to the driver and front passenger airbags for better protection, a new 6-disc MP3-capable CD player for hassle-free non-stop entertainment and a leather wrapped steering wheel for a touch of luxury.

The Ranger TDCi is powered by a class-leading 2.5-litre DuraTORQ Commonrail turbodiesel engine that is capable of 141bhp at 3,500 rpm and 330Nm of torque at 1800 rpm.

The vehicle also comes comprehensively equipped with sporty 16-inch alloy rims, fog lights, bed liner and sport bar. A remote keyless entry system and immobiliser help secure the vehicle and ensure peace of mind.
