Alfa 159 Wins 'Best Value-For-Money Luxury Sedan' Award.

Petaling Jaya, 11 August 2009 – Alfa Romeo’s Giorgetto Giugiaro-designed 159 sports sedan powered by a 185 bhp 2.2-litre JTS (uniJet Thrust System) 4-cylinder inline twin-cam engine mated to a 6-speed Selespeed automatic manual gearbox won the ‘Best Value-for-Money Luxury Sedan‘ award at the 2009 Asian Auto–VCA Auto Industry Award recently. Competing in a category that included luxury marques from Germany, Sweden and Japan, the Alfa 159 won for offering best-in- class space, superior drive and ride dynamics and a unique emotional appeal that was lacking in most others. It also brought to the segment some much needed excitement.
