A Richer Riding Experience For All

Prize giving ceremony for the participants
SINGAPORE, 28 February 2009 - Performance Motors Limited (PML) and the BMW Motorcycle Club Singapore (MCS) teamed up to make the day an especially joyful one for the younger ones.

Working together with Beyond Social Services, BMW MCS members were all ready to offer the youths their first experience on BMW motorcycles while demonstrating what it takes to be a responsible rider. Beyond Social Services is a charity mission that aims to curb delinquency and develop disadvantaged children and youths to become responsible young people.

PML and MCS riders
An hour of riding in the morning proved to be an energizing start before a hearty breakfast of local delight. Thereafter, the youths were given a guided tour of PML’s showroom and workshop. The PML motorcycle team was on hand to introduce our curious guests to BMW, the cutting-edge technology behind a successful brand, customer service process and working experience as a mechanic in the motorbike workshop.

The curiosity of our guests gave both PML and MCS great delight in sharing our knowledge and life experiences as a key objective of the informal event was to motivate young minds and piqued their interest in exploring new knowledge.

Their inquisitive nature proved to be a boon in acing the mini quiz and walking away with token gifts. Thereafter, it was time to say goodbye but all were smiles as this meant embarking on another motorcycle ride.

BMW motorcycle riders are often drawn to the sheer delirium of freedom and dynamic technology from their rides but this experience has showed us that sharing our joy with another can truly be a meaningful dimension to our BMW motorcycle ownership experience; more importantly, we hope we made a difference in motivating underprivileged youths and opening their minds in embracing new experiences and knowledge.
